Rubiolo.NET LLC
Rubiolo.NET LLC exists to strengthen decision quality where it actually fails: in unclear conditions, noisy evidence, unstable judgment, and poorly designed systems.
Most organizations do not suffer from a lack of data, intelligence, or effort. They suffer from decisions made without decision-ready clarity.
Rubiolo.NET focuses on building Decision Capability—the organizational and human ability to consistently frame, justify, act on, and learn from decisions under uncertainty.
This work is not about tools alone, and it does not rely on individual heroics.
It is about designing decision systems that people can understand, trust, and operate reliably as complexity grows.
What We Do
Rubiolo.NET designs end-to-end decision systems that integrate:
- decision and process modeling,
- explicit decision ownership and accountability,
- metrics, BI, and decision-ready evidence,
- analytical and statistical discipline,
- human judgment limits and interpretation rules,
- cadence, governance, and decision gating,
- learning loops that compound over time.
The objective is not speed, optimization, or inspiration.
The objective is reliability:
fewer confident mistakes, better timing, and decisions that hold under pressure.
Daniel Rubiolo
Founder & Steward of Decision Capability
Rubiolo.NET is led by Daniel Rubiolo, a decision-systems practitioner with more than two decades of experience at the intersection of data, analytics, statistics, business processes, and organizational decision-making—including a decade working with the Power BI / Fabric product group.
Daniel’s role is not to deliver dashboards, answers, or isolated frameworks. His role is to create clarity at scale by:
- making goals, tradeoffs, and constraints explicit,
- designing decision systems rather than isolated analyses,
- applying Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC to decision reliability,
- integrating human judgment limits as first-order design constraints,
- ensuring adoption through governance, cadence, and learning.
This work is grounded in a simple conviction:
Better decisions do not come from better people.
They come from better-designed systems that people can reliably operate.

Books
Rubiolo.NET’s books articulate the conceptual foundations behind this work—from data judgment, to human judgment, to organizational decision systems.
They are not manuals or marketing artifacts.
They are conceptual anchors that clarify how decisions fail, and what must be designed differently for clarity and reliability to exist.
- Six Word Lessons for Data-Based Decision-Making — data judgment and decision awareness
- Truths That Govern Life — human judgment and adult responsibility
- Choosing Clarity When Decisions Matter Most (upcoming) — the canonical Decision Capability framework
- HDE: Human Decision Engineering (upcoming) — stabilizing human judgment as a system component

Products & Offerings
Rubiolo.NET products are designed as decision capability engines, not content libraries.
They include:
- learning programs that operationalize decision capability,
- analytical and statistical interpretation systems,
- human decision engineering components,
- governance and cadence designs for ownership and timing,
- reference frameworks and artifacts for alignment.
Each product is designed to be:
- practical,
- system-level,
- compatible with real organizational constraints,
- focused on adoption rather than theory.
→ See the Framework page for details.
The Throughline
Everything at Rubiolo.NET is built around one idea:
Clarity is not insight.
Clarity is knowing when a decision is valid, who owns it, what evidence matters, and when not to act.
That is the work.
